You know that guy who does what society says and fits in? I'm not him.
I am AJ. I live in Long Beach, Mississippi. Always have, always will? I have Social Anxiety Disorder and probably other mental disorders. I make quotes and not much money. I prefer entertaining over being entertained, but I'll take what I can get.
I am attended the Gulf Coast Campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. Got my Bachelor's in Political Science, but I still don't know what to do with it. I have returned to the evil empire of Wal*Mart until I decide.
I think that if God spoke to us (or if I cast Him in a movie that I would make); He would sound like James Earl Jones or Sean Connery. I could obey a voice like that.
My LJ is really just a launching pad for my personal expression. I thought it would have been a launching pad for my political views and philosophy while sandwiching in tidbits of my life. Quite the contrary has occured. I primarily try to make it entertaining, then I throw in some politics and philosophy. It's mainly a potpourri of my life sandwiched between funny quotes (mainly from The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, King of the Hill, Megas XLR, and various other cartoons).

ljreview on April 8, 2003. The grade is in my memories, and it is proof that this journal is worth reading.I respect that people are different, and I want to get along despite that. However, it has to be understood that I am not a stereotypical person for my social status (college student, early 20s). Being Straight Edge isn't popular, but it is me. Maybe I am a bit bitter about being an outcast because of a strong ethical and moral sense, but I'm more bothered by the wrongs that are done. I try to love everyone, so it hurts me to see people act as foolish as they do.
I try not to be a misanthrope, but it is the nature of my family. I fight it as best I can, but it always finds a way to shine through. I try to foster a loving hate. Better than nothing.
